Hi Everyone

Spring is almost here which means we must get through one last holiday celebration, ST. PATTY’S DAY!!!! I don’t know about you, but I am not even Irish and I love this holiday. If you are stopping by the downtown parade this year, we will not only be open but we will have a fun flavors to go with your green beer. In fact throughout the next couple of weeks check out some of our flavors of the day:

Can you tell that I am excited…..and these are just a few of the flavors. Check out our facebook page daily to see which flavors are featured that day.

For some more important news: We are excited to say that our new gourmet ice cream shop is official under construction and on it’s way. Churned, Ice Cream Shop will be at 1112 kennilworth right in tremont across from the park and we are shooting for an April opening (cross your fingers). We will have the same philosophies that we have with our cupcakes….the best ingredients made with care. We will feature unique flavors by the scoop or in a cone, but don’t worry we will always have your staple chocolate and vanilla for those who are not so adventurous. And Yes, we will be churning the ice cream ourselves and hope to offer our customers a chance to order their own custom flavor by the quart. We can’t wait to see you when we open.

Also for those of you who have been interested in classes, we have started teaching through The Western Reserve School of Cooking located on Main street in Husdon. We have scheduled a few class:

Cupcake Class on Wed. Sept. 26 from 6:30-9:30 pm

Cake Decorating Series: (Wednesday’s) April 4, 11, 18, 25 and

Oct. 3,10,17 & 24 from 6:30-9:30 pm

Make & Take Cookie Dough Class 11:00-3:00 pm date to be announced (after thanksgiving)

It has been a full month and we have a few important subjects on today’s adjenda.

Also we are excited to talk about Valentine’s Day. Again this year we are selling our chocolate covered strawberries, and they are not your average strawberry. These come as a variety chocolate, milk chocolate, and white chocolate dipped in roasted pistachios, pecans, oreos, coconut, candied violets and more. They have become such a hit that we have included them in a Holiday Platter as well. The Holiday platters include cookies, brownies, mini cupcakes and a variety of chocolate covered strawberries. Yum!

Some of you may have heard we are expanding…..and you are right! We are opening up a Gourmet Ice Cream Shop called Churned right here in Tremont, across from the park on Kennilworth. Churned will specialize in quality ingredients, just like our cupcakes, with an emphasis on organic and eco friendly products. We are planning a grand opening before summer so check us out.
