Before we get down to the knitty gritty, we must talk about some of the exciting flavors of the day that you have seen and requested.

**Banana Foster’s, Blackberry White Chocolate, Strawberry Balsamic,

Cosmo Cupcake, even Whiskey Bacon! **

Some exciting flavors to look out for are our Cinco de Mayo flavors this Friday and Saturday.

Tequila Cupcake will be a tequila cake filled and topped with lime frosting and of course you can’t forget the salt. Also look forward to our Mexican Chocolate Cupcake, a orange chocolate cupcake with cinnamon chocolate frosting, topped with a toasted marshmallow.

Now let’s talk Mother’s Day. As you know what is better than flowers or candy for your mother is the gift of CUPCAKES! She will definitely appreciate cupcakes from her favorite bakery A Cookie and A Cupcake. Just remember we will be CLOSED Sunday April 8th, 2012 .

So this year we will have all of our cupcakes dressed up for Easter both the Friday and Saturday prior,

and we will also feature our Holiday Platters.

Holiday Platters include: mini cupcakes, classic cookies, brownie bites, and decorated sugar cookies.

The large Holiday Platter has 48 pieces and is 40.00

The small Holiday platter has 24 pieces and is 20.00

Hi Everyone

Spring is almost here which means we must get through one last holiday celebration, ST. PATTY’S DAY!!!! I don’t know about you, but I am not even Irish and I love this holiday. If you are stopping by the downtown parade this year, we will not only be open but we will have a fun flavors to go with your green beer. In fact throughout the next couple of weeks check out some of our flavors of the day:

Irish Creme filled vanilla cake

Guiness brown sugar frosting filled orange cake

Green Velvet with cream cheese frosting

Rainbow cake with a pot of gold coin

Can you tell that I am excited…..and these are just a few of the flavors. Check out our facebook page daily to see which flavors are featured that day.

For some more important news: We are excited to say that our new gourmet ice cream shop is official under construction and on it’s way. Churned, Ice Cream Shop will be at 1112 kennilworth right in tremont across from the park and we are shooting for an April opening (cross your fingers). We will have the same philosophies that we have with our cupcakes….the best ingredients made with care. We will feature unique flavors by the scoop or in a cone, but don’t worry we will always have your staple chocolate and vanilla for those who are not so adventurous. And Yes, we will be churning the ice cream ourselves and hope to offer our customers a chance to order their own custom flavor by the quart. We can’t wait to see you when we open.

Also for those of you who have been interested in classes, we have started teaching through The Western Reserve School of Cooking located on Main street in Husdon. We have scheduled a few class:

Cupcake Class on Wed. Sept. 26 from 6:30-9:30 pm

Cake Decorating Series: (Wednesday’s) April 4, 11, 18, 25 and

Oct. 3,10,17 & 24 from 6:30-9:30 pm

Make & Take Cookie Dough Class 11:00-3:00 pm date to be announced (after thanksgiving)
